Have you ever not felt “quite right” on a certain day?
Has your Body ever given you ‘signals’ or “signs” that something is ready to change?
Are your still trying to figure out how and when to move with your body?
Where to start?
I encourage you to start with gratitude. This will begin to create a closer relationship between you and your body and in turn you will create a new agreement and begin to strategize how a healthier harmony will begin to exist.
Write intentions that express these positive emotions:
I love it when…
I appreciate…
I always laugh when…
I am excited at the…
I express gratitude and joy around…
I am in the process of experiencing unconditional love every moment.
I live in peace with courage and serenity to share with others.
Second:
Listen to the language your body is sharing with you
Third:
Know that ‘she’ wants the best for you and how you respond will either give both of you energy or it will not.
So my message today is for you to partner with your body So that the intelligence of your head is communicating with the intelligence of your body.
Your body is your ally.

Your body already knows everything you need to know to get what you want in life. You were born knowing everything you need to know to make you happy. Your body still has that knowledge, and she’s ready, willing and able to share all of your body’s knowledge with you.
As soon as you
become aware of the vast store of knowledge available when you re-establish the relationship with your body, you will feel the difference! Pay attention to the lightness in your step, to the spontaneous smile on your face, to the warmth you radiate at work and at play.
Relationship is the first Body Knowledge Principle. Most of us know what a great relationship feels like, right? Well, here is your chance to bring your body into your home with your family and friends and colleagues. Doesn’t she give you the help you need while you are doing your work/play? Well, in any good relationship, we reciprocate. So what can you do for her today?

Body Knowledge System along with the book “The Body Knowledge System, An Awesome Intelligence”, tells you all you need to know about ending the estrangement between you and your body. Let me guess, you don’t know what I’m talking about when I say “estrangement”, especially when I am referring to you and your body, do you?
Estrangement is all about separation. Your body and you, your physical self and your personality self. Your body and you, your physical self and your intellectual self. And lastly, your physical self and your spiritual self. When all aspects of you are united, you will discover your life becomes easier, you are focused, you are successful, and you are happy!
When you end your estrangement between you, all the parts of you, and your body through the practice of Body Knowledge System, all the benefits of body knowledge become yours!
So what can you do in this moment? See and acknowledge ‘your body’ as a separate entity. This will help you to recognize her (even though we know we are whole- mind, body, spirit). So what can you do for ‘her’ … for your body today and tomorrow?

“Work” when applied to the Body Knowledge System always refers to your profession, and not your body. For some of us, work implies unpleasant effort, required responsibility, and dull routine; for others, work is a wonderful word meaning fulfillment, passion, and satisfaction.
Whether you love what you do professionally, or you do it to be free to pursue your passion, when members of the BodyAwe community refer to work—it never, ever,
applies to our bodies, or to exercise.
Body Knowledge System applies to what we do professionally, because BKS is integral to everything we do in our lives. Every moment we live and breathe can be enhanced when we apply the Body Knowledge System. Our work becomes our play when we are doing what
we love, and our body always reveals our life’s work—especially when we are actively engaged in doing it.

How will you know?
Ask your body.
She always tells the truth.
A mini-test to determine whether your position is your passion:
Stand up in the center of your room, your space. Take a deep breath—all the way to the bottom of your abdomen, then purse your lips and exhale slowly in an “O” until every molecule of air leaves your body.
1) Think of your job, work, profession.
2) Move with the thought.
3) Observe your movement, your dance.
Write down your impressions and how your body felt, preferably in your Body Knowledge Journal.
Place the date on the page, because you’ll want to refer back to your impressions later in your practice of the Body Knowledge System.
